Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is the process of engaging in a dialogue with a professional, with the purpose of gaining greater mental and emotional well-being. Treatments can provide a safe and supportive environment in which to address issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, family and relationships, abuse, addictions, grief and loss. Psychotherapy can also be useful for individuals who may not be experiencing a significant degree of distress or crisis, but who are seeking to enhance their overall sense of purpose and well-being. Psychotherapy can enhance physical function, feelings of happiness, contentment, success, and clarity. Sessions may be useful as a stand alone service or as a support used in conjunction with other services. Confidentiality is held in the highest regard. It is the patients’ choice to have service providers collaborate on his/her case, or have services remain strictly confidential. To ensure compatibility and comfort levels, a complimentary 20 minute session will be provided upon request.
